How to make homemade lassi?
Lassi is very popular drink in all over India especially in summer season and this is very healthy drink for human body.so let's start makeing journey of home made lassi in very simple and easy steps.
Ingredients:
1 cup plain yogurt (preferably full-fat)
1 cup chilled water
2 tablespoons sugar (adjust according to your taste)
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
A pinch of saffron strands (optional)
Crushed ice (optional)
Fresh mint leaves or chopped pistachios for garnish (optional)
How to make:-
In a blender or mixing bowl, add the yogurt and chilled water.
Blend or whisk the mixture until it becomes smooth and frothy.
Add sugar to the yogurt-water mixture and continue blending or whisking until the sugar dissolves completely.
If using, add cardamom powder and saffron strands to the mixture and blend briefly to incorporate the flavors. Cardamom and saffron add a delightful aroma and taste to the lassi.
Taste the lassi and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more sugar or water, if desired.
If you prefer a thicker and creamier lassi, you can add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
Pour the lassi into glasses.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves or chopped pistachios for added flavor and visual appeal.
Serve the lassi immediately while it's chilled.
Variations: Lassi can be customized with various flavors and ingredients. Here are a few popular variations you can try:
